On April 8th, HBO aired the film “The Greatest Silence: Rape in the Congo”, winner of a Special Jury Prize (Documentary) at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. It is an excellent depiction of the terrible situation the DRC faces. Please click this link to see a trailer and learn more: The Greatest Silence: Rape in the Congo

On October 7th 2007, the New York Times published an excellent article on its front page addressing the rape epidemic in the Congo. The article is especially informative for those interested in contributing to our foundation, as it references the very Bukavu women and families our foundation seeks to help.
